WELCOME

Dr. Schneider is an Assistant Professor at Wright State, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate level classes in Social/Health Psychology. She is interested in understanding various aspects of both the stress process and health promotion through a social psychological lens. Specifically, understanding the effects of stress evaluations on psychological and physiological mechanisms that link stress and health. Dr. Schneider also is interested in understanding the effects of evaluations of health messages on the persuasiveness of health appeals, and psychological and physical mechanisms that foster health promotion.

Dr. Schneider received her Ph.D. from the State University of New York, Stony Brook, in 1997.
